Education for Total Consciousness
Education for Total Consciousness (ETC) is a transformative educational philosophy and teaching methodology developed by Swami Isa to nurture the full potential of every learner. Going beyond conventional models that focus primarily on academic achievement, ETC integrates intellectual, emotional, physical, ethical, social and spiritual development, enabling education to cultivate not only capable individuals but wise, compassionate and responsible human beings. ETC provides practical tools for curriculum design, teaching, assessment and teacher development. It is designed to work within existing education systems while offering a clear pathway towards a more holistic, human-centred vision of education that prepares learners not only for careers, but for a meaningful life.
Isa Viswa Vidyalayam School
Children thrive through connected learning at our CBSE syllabus primary to high school in Kerala. In 1998, Jagadguru Swami Isa founded the Isa Viswa Vidyalayam, built on Education for Total Consciousness, which specializes in experiential learning, personalization, arts integration, skill development, and correlating the outer world with the inner world. Teachers cultivate strong relationships with the children, giving them not only knowledge — but love, understanding and inspiration.
Teacher Education
IVPT conducts teacher development programmes, educational research initiatives, practical implementation of ETC-based pedagogy, national and international conferences.
Global Energy Parliament
The Global Energy Parliament (GEP) is an informal education project of the Trust that promotes lifelong learning through public engagement, interdisciplinary dialogue, and knowledge sharing. Established in 2010, it brings together governments, scientists, researchers, educators, students, and members of the public to explore topics related to long-term sustainability, peace, science, and global development through an international parliament. GEP seeks to foster critical inquiry, cross-sector collaboration, and broader public participation in addressing contemporary global challenges. It formulates resolutions on issues of global importance and communicates them to the leadership of nations around the world, as well as bodies like the UN, to encourage dialogue and informed action.
Universal University
The Universal University is a visionary long-term initiative of the Trust, inspired by Jagadguru Swami Isa’s vision of a new model for human development and global wellbeing. Conceived as far more than a conventional university, it will bring together education, scientific research, sustainable living, innovation, and community life within a single living ecosystem. Building on the foundations of Education for Total Consciousness and I-Theory, the Universal University seeks to develop and demonstrate practical solutions for a more peaceful, conscious, and sustainable future.
Career Centre
Certificate and Diploma courses in Yoga Teacher Training, Computers, Teacher Training, Multimedia and more, bringing 25 years of educational experience to vocational training. Isa Viswa Vidyalayam is a registered C-Apt Multimedia Centre under the Government of Kerala, as well as an Accredited Vocational Institute by Government of India.
International Recognition
IVPT holds Special Consultative Status to the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2015, through which the Trust has contributed suggestions on education, science and sustainability to numerous sessions of the UN.
Educationists from around the world have studied the Education for Total Consciousness method and philosophy in the Trust’s international conferences since 2000.
